I had a BLAST!  at the reunion!  Carol, you are a wizard at pulling reunions together-every one of them!  I am so appreciative of you and your commitment to keeping our huge class reunited.

Sweet Caroline, you did it again another time!  50 yrs, yay!  Groovy!

I have 4 or 5 pics, not sure where to upload them.  They may end up on my profile.  Stay tuned!

Pauline,

After you join go to Our Yearbooks they should be there. Later after we get more pics we will do the 50th.

We went to get the photos out of my camera chip and discovered the photos from the 45th were never posted I swear they were there.

Although I enjoyed seeing the photos from the 50th reunion, I could hardly identify anyone! I think it would be fun if everyone would put a current photo up on your profile page! Here's mine from yesterday, a selfie I took with my trusty cell phone in front of the sketch made of me in 1970 at the graduation party!

Loved seeing the reunion pics!  Thanks, everyone, & esp Carol, who made our 50th reunion so special!!!!

I'm still having trouble sleeping, I'm remembering how much fun it was.  Hello to all the classmates I didn't get to greet - I just saw many of them in the picture gallery.

Hopefully by our 55th reunion, covid will be just another virus treatable with vaccines, like the flu, & we can let the good times roll once again!

Hi all:

I'm getting multiple requests to access the movie I sent.  It's Google Drive, & I have tried to grant access to people individually, but my inbox is flooded, and I need to know how to grant the whole class access as once.  I don't know how to do it, neither does anyone else I"ve asked.

Please be patient till I can find out how to do it.  I'm not a techie.  Anyone in our class able to help me?  It has to do with the movie settings, & it being in Google Drive.  I'm getting peoples' email addresses.

Should I just type in www.needhamhighschoolclassof1971.com? maybe that's the group I need to grant access to.  I know it'll be resolved eventually if I can find someone to tell me how to do it.

Sue

I got 36 email requests to share the movie...I have to do each one individually, since I do not know how to send permission to the whole class at once.  I'm now in possession of everyone's email addresses too.

Again, please be patient while Carol & I try to figure out how to do this!  Again, anyone w web skills, please speak up and help here, much appreciated!

Thanks!

Asking for help AGAIN-I'm swamped w requests from the whole class of '71, & I have to grant access to movie for everyone individually.   Our class was huge!  Getting requests from people who weren't at the reunion, too.

Someone out there must know how to manage Google Drive.  There's also a Jumbo Google Drive, my husband told me.  Anyone know about that?

Anyone have more pics to give to Carol?

Suzanne Pike (Seri)

Pauline, blame it on Google Drive...nothing I can do about it.  I have answered at least 200 emails requesting access.  Good grief!  Thanks for the feedback.

Carol here,

OOPS !  i clearly dont know enough about google technology.
I hate how they can track and bother people.

Thank you all for coming to our  50th reunion !

A special thanks Chris Pooley for sponsoring our event it was a tremendous help to maintain a solid treasury to keep up with rising costs for any future events.

Thank you Diane Dinneen and Martha Taylor Brennan from the class of 1970 for taking care of the 'sign in' duties and taking photos.

Bobby Fields is in another reunion website for NHS.     He wrote a lot about what he's been up to since HS, & has a few pics posted too.  Awesome to see another classmate!

John Dewey

I just saw this obituary

Martha Jane "Marty" (Gaudet) Remsen

January 16, 2022

Obituary for Martha Jane "Marty" (Gaudet) Remsen | Eaton Funeral Home (eatonfuneralhomes.com

Thank you john for posting this.
As i remember Ms Gaudet was a great inspiration to many of our clasmates.
Throughout our high school years she taught phys ed and coached field hockey. Later she worked at her husbands business and continued to support our Needham community.
RIP dear Martha Gaudet Remsen

I had an English class with Miss Gaudet.  She was definitely one of the better teachers I had at NHS.  Thanks for passing along her obituary.  While she was coaching the women's tennis team I recall a time when I was playing tennis with a friend on a Needham public court and she arrived with her team to hold a practice.  She recognized me from her class a year or two beforehand, said hello, and was kind enough to let us finish our set before she took over all the courts to hold a practice with her team.  Very classy person.

I remember Mrs Gaudet

I had her for English I think my junior year, I wasn't her best student by far, but she made English interesting in a subject I want very fond of!!

If I recall correctly, I had Miss Gaudet for sophomore year AP English. I liked her! In reading her obit, I see that she was just 8 years older than us & a Needham resident. I wonder if her job at NHS was her first after college? I did not know she was active at Carter Memorial Methodist Church & was the president of their choir for 50 years!

Her funeral was broadcast on YouTube, if you'd like to see it. I don't seem to be able to post a link here, but just search "Carter Memorial Methodist Church" on YouTube, streamed live on January 22, 2022.

Condolences & memories can be posted on Legacy or the Eaton Funeral Home sites.

I have always remembered "Miss Gaudet." She was my teacher in seventh grade. She was also the best in so many ways. So sorry to hear of her passing.

RIP, Miss Gaudet.  I remember her fondly as one of my best teachers.

I remember Ms Gaudet as coaching some sports-I had Mrs Sparks for track, if anyone remembers her.  Pauline, you may remember "Ollie".  She was scary!  Ms Gaudet seemed kind, as far as coaching was concerned.

I didn't know she sang either-that's great!

RIP.

Martha Gaudet was an excellent teacher and had a big heart.

Marjorie Ann Keary at the age of 98 passed away. She was an art teacher either at NHS or Newman.  She also was a resident of Osterville, not too far from me here in Falmouth.
She was well-liked by her students, if I recall correctly.
Enjoy the snow!

Just thought I would pass this message from Sue Seri
