Heather was in my 7th and 8th grade "division" (7-2: remember those ??!) and one of my favorite peeps ! Many a note was passed in class, many laughs, slumber parties, trips into Boston. Time goes by, friendships become memories. We reconnected on Facebook a few years back, and she was the same funny, loving, supportive friend that I remembered from Pollard Jr. High. I was so sad to see that she had passed. Rest in Peace, my friend.
RIP Heather-I knew who she was but we never had a conversation. omg yes, those divisions! I was in 7-3. For sure, Pauline, nothing like making it obvious who had different learning styles than others! So glad they don't do that anymore.
Hope everyone can get to the reunion in Oct so I can hear about it, & there will be lots of pics..I'm not on Facebook. This website is enough for me, and I text with the rest of my friends, so I hope pics will be posted here! I"ve been in Needham a lot lately to babysit and visit Levi, and we walk Obi by Pauline's and Mary's old houses-well, Pauline, your new old house...
I am off the subject as usual, I will do a search for Heather's obituary, if there is one.
If anyone knew the Kneppel family, Lee recently died. He and his wife moved across the street from us here in Falmouth. Lee was in the class of '68, I think. He has a sister Karen who lived in Needham for a while. They lived near Bobby Fields & knew the family well.
Sue , karen Kneppel, sounds familiar. Don't know why , my new house, the castle with a tower! Cmon,,, there is big . And then there is massive, a gauche, . Paula and I want to apologize to the rest of the street, kids don't play outside in yards anymore,, so who needs a yard with a sledding hill!
Heather was a bright light and a good friend in high school. Had the opportunity to reconnect via Facebook . RIP old friend and gone too soon. Thoughts and prayers for your Husband, Art and sister Patty.
