I met Beth in church school at the Episcopal Church in 3rd grade when we first moved to Needham.  She had a wonderful spirit and enjoyed her time in Maine with gorgeous views of the water from her homewhich she postee regularly on Facebook.  RIP Beth.  #NHS1971

My message to you dear Beth

Upon entering the delivery room at the Newton Wellesley hospital there you were, head nurse in charge. In my delusional state I said "Beth Wood  what are you doing here? "   My Dr. was at a wedding but he did arrive just in time for the birthing.  I am sure you had something to do with that.  I think you calmed me down when I started grilling him asking if he had been drinking.  You were a  cool calm and efficient team for the one hour scarry  delivery of my 2nd born.  I would like to think I named my daughter Elizabeth after you. At the time though I thought a queen was born?  And on that day you were my queen.  I will never forget you my friend Beth Wood.

Carol

We were early childhood friends through at least our Stephen Palmer Elementary years, living within a block of each other.  We also attended the same Christ Episcopal Church, were in the same school divisions, and probably a few more similar circles.  Beth, Rest in Peace.

Beth was great, loved her laugh and booming personality. Sorry to hear we lost another classmate.
Take care everyone and be well.

I remember Beth from Stephen Palmer school, then onto Pollard and high school. But recently reconnected on Facebook. We had actually texted back and forth the week before she passed....  She was a great person!

Rest in Peace my friend....

I knew Beth a bit from NHS theatrical productions and thought she was the life of the party. Like Ellie, I got to know her better in recent years through FB. I found we had a lot in common and similar sensibilities. I'll miss our conversations and her wit! Rest in peace, Beth.💙

Beth was a hot ticket in Hello Dolly-that's where I got to know her better.  Her humor was unique.

Somewhere in the past years I found out that we both were nurses.

RIP, Beth, & maybe you'll be doing some Hello Dolly -Ernestine Money from above...
