Rest in peace Slim. One of the good guys. Didn't know Stephen that well in high school but after high school ran into him a lot at down at the Chevron.I saw a Bobby Spence 3 or 4 months ago At the restaurant depot. We started swapping stories and sure enough Slims name came up. I won't repeat the story but it was pretty damn funny. Steven was a character and a stand up guy. Thanks for the Memories Slim!
I remember Steve (Slim) working at the Chevron in the Heights. I didn't know many of the Class of 1971 having moved to Needham in November 1969. I knew Steve and saw him from time to time and again when he lived on Rosegate Rd w/ his wife Ulman. (Ulman was a friend of my sister Patrice also). I saw him several times when he worked for the DPW in Needham & then lost touch w/him after I left Needham & went to Boston. Where does the time go? RIP Steve, you were a goood guy.
